The Leidos Defense Sector is seeking Tactical Systems Operator (TSO) Mode Instructors to join our high‑impact program at Cannon AFB, New Mexico This role supports a major Military Intelligence initiative aligned with the USAF Air Combat Command’s (ACC) ISR mission. A current TS/SCI clearance is required.

What You’ll Do

As a TSO Mode Instructor, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of 361 ISRG operators. You will:

  • Train and certify personnel across Mode 1, 2, and 3 operations in accordance with OTT, T&C, and NGW‑ITOS standards, with opportunities to expand into future Modes as they are introduced.
  • Deliver high‑quality instruction through initial and recertification courses, ensuring operators meet mission‑ready standards.
  • Develop and maintain CMCT curriculum and POI‑aligned training materials that reflect evolving mission requirements.
  • Leverage and enhance the Tactical Systems Emulator (TSE) Aircrew Training Device, contributing to scenario development that mirrors real‑world operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with TSO subject matter experts to integrate current operational trends into ACCT training.
  • Review and refine TSE scenarios to align with the approved Syllabus of Instruction.
  • Provide ISR and SIGINT instruction as an NSA‑certified instructor supporting Air Force systems and Cryptologic Operators.
  • Monitor and implement certification updates to ensure training remains compliant and mission‑aligned.
  • Serve as a liaison between ISRG leadership, subordinate squadrons, and Intelligence Community partners.
  • Conduct certification training and evaluations including classroom instruction, scenario‑based exercises, and testing.
  • Develop and deliver advanced TTP training for emerging technologies and evolving SIGINT protocols.
  • Assess new technologies and TTPs to support government decisions on future SIGINT training integration.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-12 years of experience (additional experience may substitute for degree).
  • Aircrew background with SIGINT system operation experience
  • Experience supporting high‑value target analysis databases
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Deep understanding of the TSO mission and Mode certification process.
  • Ability to work independently and within a dynamic team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
