It is an exciting time at Chain IQ. Our team in Singapore is seeking a results‑oriented Tactical Sourcing Consultant for Marketing. This role suits a procurement professional who combines strong commercial acumen, category knowledge, and operational excellence. While based in Singapore, you may be required to support client sites across the region to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with local marketing operating models.

Role Purpose

As a Tactical Sourcing Consultant for Marketing, you provide the crucial link between on delivering sourcing requests within the full breadth of marketing categories including creative and media services, digital marketing, content production, branding and design, events and activations, market research, public relations, and marketing technology. You serve as a commercial advisor to local stakeholders, ensuring every supplier engagement and negotiation reflects global standards while meeting the specific needs of the Singapore and Southeast Asia markets.

What You Will Do:

Sourcing Advisory and Execution

Lead end‑to‑end tactical sourcing activities for marketing categories including RFQs, competitive bidding, supplier assessments, and urgent spot buys for marketing campaigns or services.

Contractual Consulting

Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with creative agencies, media partners, research firms, event organisers, production houses, and marketing technology vendors, ensuring strong commercial protection and regulatory compliance in Singapore.

On‑Site Project Leadership

Visit client offices to understand marketing operational needs, support campaign execution requirements, and facilitate transitions between suppliers when needed.

Supplier Optimisation

Identify, assess, and onboard marketing suppliers while working with them to strengthen performance across KPIs such as delivery quality, creative effectiveness, campaign turnaround time, and cost efficiency.

Value Creation

Identify cost saving opportunities, process improvements, and supplier consolidation initiatives within day‑to‑day marketing procurement activities.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a trusted partner to marketing teams, brand managers, and communications leaders. Support urgent campaign needs, provide sourcing guidance, and resolve bottlenecks relating to agency or vendor management.

Digital Excellence

Ensure all sourcing activities are accurately captured and managed within digital procurement systems to maintain transparency, governance, and audit readiness.

What You Bring:

Experience

4 to 6 years of experience in tactical sourcing, procurement consulting, or operational purchasing with exposure to marketing categories such as creative agencies, events, media buying, production & market research

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Consultative Selling and Negotiation

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to articulate procurement value to marketing stakeholders and agency partners.

Mobility

Based in Singapore with flexibility to visit client sites within Southeast Asia when required.

Analytical Agility

Ability to manage multiple marketing requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Compliance Knowledge

Understanding of Singapore’s advertising standards, data privacy requirements, procurement compliance, and contractual practices relevant to marketing services.

Language

Fluency in English is essential. Additional regional languages will be an advantage.
