TITLE: TABLE GAMES SHIFT SUPERVISOR

The Table Games Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the casino Table Games Pit on an assigned shift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Directly supervises Pit Supervisors on assigned shift and indirectly supervises all Table Games Pit Team Members.

  2. Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  3. Responsible for the rotation and table assignments of Table Games Team Members.

  4. In the absence of management, may be responsible for the Table Games operations on assigned shift Implement and ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, and direct personnel in accordance with company policies and objectives.

  5. Responsible for the efficient operation of all table games on a particular shift

  6. Maintains the highest quality standards in all areas of Guest service, hospitality, and developing players.

  7. Informs management of all noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity.

  8. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the casino.

  9. Responsible for tracking and reporting players on appropriate forms.

  10. Ensures that fills and credits are submitted and retrieved.

  11. Responsible for audit, accounting, jackpot, player tracking and Title’s 26 and 31 tracking paperwork.

  12. Ensure policy and procedures are applied consistently, equitably and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  13. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

  14. All other departmental duties as assigned.



Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  1. The minimum age requirement is twenty-one.

  2. High School diploma or equivalent required.

  3. Minimum of 3 years table game experience with progressive supervisory experience.

  4. Knowledge of Tribal Gaming and MICS regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedure manuals.

  5. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of an organization.

  6. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  7. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  8. Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel

  9. Excellent customer service skills.

  10. Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.

  11. Must be able to pass all department tests according to table games standards as outline in the Department Policies and Procedures.

  12. Must have a working knowledge of Card Counting, Money Management, and Yield Management Systems.

  13. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.

  14. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license with the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

  1. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand for entire shift, talk, hear, walk, sit and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  2. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.

  4. Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty pounds.

  5. Must be able to work in a noisy, smoke-filled, fast paced environment.

  6. The noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.

  7. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.

  8. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

REPORTS TO Table Games Assistant Manager
SUPERVISES Pit Supervisor, Dual Rate Pit Supervisor, Card Dealer
HOURS The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
SALARY $31.00/hour / Non-tipped / weekly pay / overtime eligible
