The Table Games Floor Supervisor is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling an area of a pit consisting of one or more games to assure the delivery of customer service according Belterra Casino Resort standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games. This role is responsible for learning the various policies and procedures required of the TG Floor Supervisor position.

The Table Games Floor Supervisor:

  • Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and team members, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
  • Assumes overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated area.
  • Maintains constant awareness of activities of all games in assigned locations in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity.
  • Controls and directs games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance and dealer correction.
  • Familiar with accounting procedures and administrative tasks, i.e., fills, credits, marker transactions and responsibilities in regards to Indiana Gaming Regulations.
  • Maintains awareness of how each game stands with respect to player limits, special customers, gains/losses, and dealer performance.
  • Provides and monitors on-the-job training for Dealers to ensure staff receives adequate guidance, resources, and information for adequate job performance.
  • Mentors and provides performance feedback for assigned dealers regarding evaluations, promotions, demotions, discipline and other employment actions.
  • Performs related duties as assigned, and performs the duties of the positions within his/her span of control, as appropriate.
  • Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior customer service level.
  • Responsible for tracking hands in play, head count, generating daily operating reports, and controlling the inventory of playing cards, dice and promotional items.
  • Relay work assignments to table games personnel through the use of road maps and other methods of job assignments.
  • Create new player loyalty cards for play tracking purposes.
  • Reprints player loyalty cards for guests with an existing account.
  • Ensures departmental compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations, and with departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • May work in the capacity of a dealer, due to business needs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, computer keyboard and telephone.
  • Ability to review and comprehend player data and other necessary documentation and observe play of guests.
  • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members.
  • Ability to move effectively and efficiently around pit area so as to be able to observe play at all tables.
  • Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules.
  • This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
  • Sound technical understanding of games manuals, policies, procedures, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate or supervise the work of others.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of policies and procedures of games supervised, as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.
  • Completion of a wide variety of specific games training programs with resulting proficiency in several pit games.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • These skills and abilities are typically acquired through multi-game dealing experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
