Job Description

Table Games Dealer Class - Hochatown, OK

9-Week course - designed to develop the skillsets necessary for dealing Table Games (Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold 'EM, Three Card Poker, Roulette)

Training Pay: $10.00 Hourly Rate while in training / $8/hour + tips (Average Tips $30.26/hour) Once on the gaming floor

Class details:

Each selected applicant will attend class, gaining skill sets necessary to operate tables on the gaming floor.

  • Start Date 7/6/2026
  • End Date: 9/3/2026
  • Class Times: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    • Time is subject to change based upon training needs
  • Days: MON, TUE, WED, THU

General Class Information

  • Selected applicants will be hired and required to attend the 9 weeks of class.
  • Each student will be required to pass physical and written skills test for each module of the class.
    • Each student will have two attempts to pass each test.
    • Failure to pass either a written or physical test may result in reevaluation of class participation.
    • Upon successful completion of the course, applicants will be able to select/bid from available dealer schedules.
    • Applicants must attend every class and conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Table Games Dealer Job Description


Primary Tasks:

  1. Serve and entertain Guests while enforcing the rules and maintaining the integrity of the game.
  2. Analyze customer play, protecting against cheating scams, and unusual or suspicious variations of play.
  3. Review and communicate table game activities with supervisors and managers.
  4. Answer Guest inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, payouts, etc.
  5. Clean work area as designated by management
  6. Verify identification of customers when needed.
  7. Sign and date all paperwork as required.
  8. Provide excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
  9. Other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)
  • Apply oral or written communication techniques.
  • Must be highly customer focused and maintain a positive atmosphere and be friendly and informative as needed.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination

1. Participate in an intensive training program covering multiple table games (e.g. Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, and Craps)

2. Learn and demonstrate proper dealing techniques, games rules, and house procedures.

3. Understand casino ethics, responsible gaming practices and customer interaction skills.

4. Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance your gaming knowledge.

5. Engage with guest, trainees, trainers while encouraging a welcoming environment.

6. Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance protocols.

7. Prepare for and participate in scheduled assessments and evaluations.

8. Training and Testing: You will go through a structured training program that includes: a training phase (12 to 15 weeks), a mid-program assessment where you will undergo a practical skills evaluation and testing, and a final evaluation which involves a practical dealing test (audition) before a panel of experienced piers within the table games department.

9. Other duties as may be assigned.

· Experience handling large volumes of cash
