Job Description

Human Resources announces a 1.0 FTE Kindergarten Assistant, A-09, working 187 days located at Jamestown Elementary School

Qualifications:

  • Assistants must meet the highly qualified requirements. Assistants shall achieve highly qualified status if they have a high school diploma, and
    • An Associate Degree or two years of college study. At least 60 semester hours, 12 which must be in English or mathematics, depending on job responsibilities, or
    • A score of at least 455 on the Parapro Test.

Experience:

  • Experience working with elementary students.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient, flexible, and organized.
  • Ability to communicate with parents.
  • Collaborative team player.

Willingness to work under teacher direction and supervision.
Salary:

Salary will be based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule.
