The purpose of the T24 Support Analyst role is to provide specialized technical support and maintenance for the T24 core banking system. This position involves troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and ensuring the smooth operation of the T24 environment. By collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT teams and end-users, the T24 Support Analyst aims to resolve incidents promptly, enhance system performance, and implement best practices. The role is crucial in maintaining the stability and reliability of banking operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's financial services

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Information Technology

Experience Required

3-4 year hands-on experience in T24 core banking.

  • Deep functional expertise in Arrangement Architecture (AA) lifecycle management, including product configuration, maintenance, and processing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Accounts and Deposits processing and related banking operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of General Ledger (GL) structures, accounting posting rules, reconciliation processes, and balance analysis.
  • Proven experience working with the Funds Transfer (FT) module, including accounting flows, settlement processing, and financial impacts.
  • Solid understanding of multi-currency and multi-entity accounting environments and their operational implications.
  • Experience supporting and managing high-volume transaction processing environments within core banking systems.
  • Strong knowledge of system integrations, interface management, and the downstream impact on reporting and financial reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse end-to-end transaction-to-GL flows and ensure accounting integrity across systems.
  • Proven track record in diagnosing and resolving balance mismatches, accounting variances, and posting anomalies
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex root cause analysis across interfaces, Arrangement Architecture (AA) structures, and related banking modules.
  • Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to identify, investigate, and resolve production and reconciliation issues.
