We are currently seeking a highly motivated mid to senior level Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in support of a highly technical engineering organization and fast-paced product development environment.
This is not a traditional help desk role. The ideal candidate is a strong technical problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing scalable solutions that improve reliability and efficiency. Success in this role requires the ability to work across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments while supporting cloud-based infrastructure, development tooling, and automation initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, including provisioning, configuration, and automation of systems and development environments.
- Manage user access, authentication, permissions, and security controls across local and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and support networking infrastructure, including DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, subnets, security groups, and connectivity issues.
- Support engineering teams with infrastructure, development tools, and containerized environments, including building, maintaining, and optimizing Docker containers and container images.
- Administer and support AWS and/or Azure cloud environments and develop Bash and PowerShell scripts to automate operational and infrastructure processes.
- Perform root cause analysis on complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting and administering Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to methodically diagnose issues spanning systems, networking, cloud infrastructure, authentication, and applications.
- Hands-on experience with networking concepts including DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, subnets, and security groups.
- Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
- Proficiency with Bash and/or PowerShell scripting for automation and infrastructure management.
- Ability to work closely with engineering, software development, and product development teams in a collaborative environment.
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
- Experience working within AWS and/or Azure environments, including IAM, networking, compute resources, storage, load balancers, and security controls.
- Experience supporting engineering, software development, or product development teams in a highly technical environment.
- Experience identifying and implementing automation and process improvements that increase reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset focused on solving problems at the root cause rather than addressing symptoms.
- Kubernetes familiarity is a plus.

The salary range for this role is:
$111,500 - $170,000
