Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Systems Testing Specialist
to
support testing activities across large-scale enterprise applications and
solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing testing
strategies, developing comprehensive test artifacts, executing both manual and
automated testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple
platforms and environments.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide
  advice on testing strategies, test plans, testing tools, and resource
  requirements.
• 
  Plan
  and organize testing efforts for large systems in both Graphical User
  Interface (GUI) and non-GUI environments.
• 
  Execute
  systems integration testing, specialized testing, stress testing, and user
  acceptance testing (UAT).
• 
  Develop
  test plans, test scripts, and test cases and execute them against various
  system components.
• 
  Collaborate
  with testing leads, IT leads, project teams, and stakeholders throughout
  analysis, design, development, implementation, and support phases.
• 
  Develop
  and execute automation testing solutions across multiple applications and
  platforms.
• 
  Utilize
  SQL queries to validate, create, and extract test data.

Qualifications & Experience

QA & Testing Experience

• 
  5–10
  years of experience working within DevOps, Agile, and Scrum environments.
• 
  Experience
  testing web and mobile technologies across multiple operating systems and
  platforms.
• 
  5–10
  years of experience performing various testing types including:
• 
  Black
  Box Testing
• 
  Penetration
  Testing
• 
  Security
  Testing
• 
  System
  Testing
• 
  Unit
  Testing
• 
  Accessibility
  (AODA) Testing
• 
  User
  Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• 
  Extensive
  experience preparing and maintaining detailed test cases and test plans.
• 
  Strong
  experience creating Test Strategies and Test Plan documentation.
• 
  Experience
  analyzing business requirements and developing test data requirements.
• 
  Proven
  ability to identify, document, and communicate software defects to
  technical and business teams.
• 
  Extensive
  experience with system testing and system integration testing.
• 
  Experience
  preparing, executing, and monitoring unit, integration, and UAT testing
  activities.
• 
  Experience
  creating test cases and test plans for manual system and integration
  testing.

Automation Testing Experience

• 
  5–10
  years of hands-on experience developing automation test scripts.
• 
  Experience
  performing functional and regression testing using automation frameworks
  and tools.
• 
  Experience
  preparing, maintaining, executing, and reporting on automated test
  scripts.
• 
  Experience
  generating test data through database queries and database model analysis.

Technical Skills

• 
  Strong
  SQL skills for test data validation, creation, and extraction.
• 
  Experience
  with Azure DevOps for:
• 
  Defect
  tracking
• 
  Test
  case management
• 
  Test
  scenario management
• 
  Experience
  participating in and leading defect triage meetings.
• 
  Experience
  producing defect summary reports.
• 
  Experience
  with screen readers, syntax checking tools, color contrast tools, and
  browser accessibility utilities.
• 
  Experience
  with HTML5, WAI-ARIA tags, UX principles, and front-end development
  concepts.
• 
  Ability
  to provide coding, system, and architecture recommendations to improve
  accessibility compliance.
• 
  Experience
  with development technologies such as Java and AngularJS.
• 
  Experience
  providing accessibility remediation recommendations.
• 
  Experience
  with User Experience (UX) interface design and architecture.
• 
  Bilingual
  testing experience is considered a strong asset.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 
  Solid
  experience with defect triaging, leading defect triage meetings, and
  producing defect summary reports.
• 
  Extensive
  experience performing manual and automated regression testing.
• 
  5–10
  years of experience performing multiple testing types including black box,
  penetration, security, system, unit, accessibility (AODA), and UAT
  testing.
• 
  Extensive
  experience preparing detailed test cases for functional validation.
• 
  Hands-on
  experience using Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management.
