The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Support Specialist to join our Productional Critical Services in Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; St. Louis, MO and Mesa, AZ.
This position will be responsible for ensuring Productional Critical Services (PCS) application suite used for Engineering Data Distribution and Product Definition Templates PDTs are functional and online to perform day-to-day activities. This position will support ADADS, REDARS, SPDM or EIMMT. Candidate should be familiar with providing customer solutions, troubleshooting applications, installing software and have a foundational knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Manage and maintain day-to-day support for Data Distribution applications
Support application enhancements, testing and requirements gathering
Maintain and resolve tickets in ticketing queue(s)
Protect classified and proprietary information
Develop and maintain relationships with other information providers internal and external to the Company
Collaborate with business partners and end users to assist with troubleshooting and solutions
Organize, manage, store, and distribute Engineering Data
Define information architecture requirements for integration with digital information systems
Develop and maintain relationships with other information providers internal and external to the Company
Provide support for Windows Operating Systems (OS)
Provide basic network support
Support Virtual Machine environments
Install, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software and components
Document and update documentation related to applications used to support creation of media outputs
Restore, troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of PCS application suite
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in SQL/T-SQL
2+ years of experience in Windows Operating Systems (OS)
2+ years of experience in Visual Basic programming
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
Experience with Boeing production, change control, and Engineering release processes
Experience with Reference Engineering Drawing and Retrieval System (REDARS)
Experience working with Automated Drawing Accountability Distribution System (ADADS)
Basic hardware/software troubleshooting skills
Experience working with suppliers or vendors
2+ Summa Stencil Cutters
2+ Kongsberg Machine Drafting Tables
