Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Data and Systems Analyst with a strong background in financial systems, reporting, automation, and business enablement initiatives to support the delivery of data-driven operational and technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners — including finance, technology, operations, and business management teams — to enhance reporting capabilities, optimize data processes, and support enterprise system initiatives.

This role is ideal for a proactive, technically strong professional who excels in fast-paced environments and is comfortable working with financial data, reporting platforms, automation tools, and business applications.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days in office preferred)
Contract Length: 6 Months (Extension or FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST

Pay: T4: $36.5 / IC: $42.3
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support and resolve SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate requests across the business enablement environment.
  • Assist with system upgrades, integrations, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements to improve operational efficiency and analytics capabilities.
  • Conduct technical investigations, troubleshoot system issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve complex application and reporting problems.
  • Validate funding requests and review contracts to ensure alignment with financial governance and business requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance financial data structures, repositories, and reporting frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Develop and support data governance standards in collaboration with Finance, IT, and Business Enablement stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and workflows using Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage multiple priorities and requests in a high-volume environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and service levels.
  • Prepare clear documentation, process guides, and reporting materials for stakeholders and leadership teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience supporting financial systems, reporting tools, or business enablement environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical investigation skills with the ability to resolve complex system and application issues.
  • Experience supporting automation, reporting, workflow, or systems enhancement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience managing priorities and triaging requests in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Positive mindset, adaptability, and flexibility in evolving business environments.

Preferred

  • Previous experience as a Financial Analyst or within business management functions.
  • Experience supporting systems development or technology enhancement projects.
  • SQL experience and familiarity with databases or programming concepts.
  • Technical background with exposure to enterprise systems and reporting environments.
  • Experience working within large enterprise or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance, or reporting standards.
EDUCATION
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
