Salary: $26.21/hour

Job Duties:

  • R esponsible for directing the work of both full time Systems Administration Unit analyst positions. The associate must be versatile, capable of handling several projects at once, capable of decision making and problem solving.
  • R esponsible for assisting in the design and control of the use of the Collections data resources.This work involves highly technical operation on an extensive database related to all tax collections and tax distribution in Jackson County and collaborates with Assessment and Finance personnel on related issues.
  • A ssists the Systems Administrator in working with Collections management and administrators in customizing the software to meet the various needs and requirements of the department and may work with outside vendors in coordinating printing of bills and receipts.
  • R esponsible for any transactions involving the use of a lock box and all other outside payment vendors; must be available to oversee the running of programs and reports on an as needed basis, including testing and billing processes.
  • M ay be on 24-hour call for emergencies and must be available to oversee the running of programs and reports on “as needed” basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preference given to candidates with bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related area; OR
  • Four years of progressively responsible experience in analytics, computer science, technology, or related field.
  • Personnel Management experience is preferred.
  • Must submit to and pass a background check and drug screen.
