The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Services Engineer, who will act as a Dedicated Engineer. The ideal candidate will handle support activities for multiple technologies hosted by our client. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring best practices are in place for such technologies and acting on them to implement fixes, maintenance, and support tasks.

The Systems Engineer will also develop remote support/process knowledge experience and will get exposure to cross team/cross region collaboration. The individual will help to improve procedures, monitoring, and will work on process automation tasks / scripts. This individual will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn and share knowledge.

This is a Hybrid role.

What you will do:

  • Manage AD Audit tool for user/group/policy anomalies such as login failures, security group changes, etc.
  • Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration. Clean up Office 365 distribution lists and user accounts. Recommend license decreases.
  • Strong knowledge on 0365 and SharePoint.
  • Authentication and Authorization knowledge, particularly SAML and SSO with Azure AD and Azure AD Connect.
  • Resource that has good experience working on transition projects, supporting O365 and domain migrations.
  • Administration and Management with environments and instances of Azure.
  • Administration and granted access security with environments and instances of Azure.
  • Space allocation for the instances and environments of Azure.
  • Requirements of services related with instances and environments of Azure.
  • Monitoring of infrastructure servers in scope through Azure tools and PRTG.
  • Incident Management of critical issues through Azure and PRTG tools.
  • Provide support for restoration/eDiscovery of email data from “inactive” mailboxes.
  • Support end Users via Phone call.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience with O365, Exchange, Azure, Active Directory, Windows.
  • Resource that has good experience working on transition projects, supporting O365 and domain migrations.
  • Resources that have worked on Azure AD, conditional access policies, MDM solutions.
  • Engage with End Users and supporting them through their issues.
  • Ability to step out of the comfort zone.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Own and lead issues, rather than just coordinating or waiting on other team members.
  • Versatility to adapt on the fly to new challenges that may arise.
  • PowerShell scripting experience.
