Job Description

You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.

You’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise in communication, problem-solving, empathy and conflict resolution to help thousands of people every day.

In this role, you'll:

  • You will support safe, effective and integrated transport projects by applying systems safety engineering principles.
  • You will apply systems safety methodologies in a complex, multi‑modal project environment.
  • You will analyse safety artefacts to support safer outcomes for customers, communities and project teams.

About you:

  • Knowledge of system life cycle, complex system requirements, systems safety artefacts and processes, and safety standards.
  • You’re recognised as a collaborative and structured problem solver, skilled at applying systems safety and risk thinking, having sound communication skills, high integrity and willingness to learn.
  • You bring experience in engineering (design, testing and commissioning), multidisciplinary project environments, safety engineering and safety assurance to achieve safer, integrated project delivery.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering (systems, electrical, mechanical, aerospace, software/computer science, safety, civil, etc.) with the ability to work independently and build effective stakeholder relationships.
