The Office of Information Technology Services is looking for an Advanced Server Administrator to join our team. This position is located at the DCF PENSACOLA HQ in Pensacola with the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS)

PREFERENCES:
Minimum of four years’ experience providing technical support in an Enterprise IT environment
Minimum of four years’ experience working core Active Directory services
Minimum of four years’ experience in application server administration
Minimum of one years’ experience with scripting
Experience with Cloud Technologies
This is a technical position for the Department's Enterprise Windows Active Directory Domain with a focus on Windows Server Operating Systems, and all related Active Directory software. This position is on-call eligible.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
• Provide services related to DCF Resource Security and Access Control. This includes Active Directory access control, messaging hygiene, and remote access user management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:
Knowledge of Enterprise Active Directory and Windows Server operating systems; linux operating systems Knowledge of Systems Administration techniques and practices in an Active Directory Server Environment; Ability to install and configure software packages under; Active Directory and Windows operating systems; Ability to install and configure Windows Server operating system and related hardware and software components; Ability to use Microsoft Office; Knowledge of messaging solutions supported by the Department; Knowledge of Mobile Devices and management for Blackberry and Active Synch services; Knowledge and skill in configuring and upgrading computer systems; Knowledge and skill in hardware and software problem detection, isolation, and resolution; Knowledge and skill using Windows tools, utilities and diagnostic tools; Knowledge of network security concepts and techniques; Knowledge of network services concepts and implementation; Knowledge of TCP/IP concepts and configuration; Knowledge of SQL database server, Understanding of Raid, SAN, and storage solutions; Ability to design and plan infrastructure solutions; Ability to interpret technical information relating to Server programs and Server hardware; Ability to communicate technical information clearly; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent customer service interaction and a positive attitude.
