In this role, you will:

  • Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services
  • Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans
  • Review and analyze technical queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supporting low to medium risk technical deliverables
  • Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries
  • Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards
  • Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes
  • Provide information related to supported system area to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal customers


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

  • Experience in Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Provides support for medium complex technical OS and Hardware Support and Maintenance Activities.
  • Prior experience of handling production support , handling Linux systems is a must.
  • Good understanding of writing Ansible playbooks to simplify day to day systems administration work.
  • Develop observability dashboard like Grafana , Splunk & ServiceNow.
  • Troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues using pre-defined guidelines.
  • Knowledge on Infrastructure and Remote Administration of various Infrastructure Devices.
  • Familiar with ticketing and Monitoring tools and Acknowledging the Alerts in time.
  • Familiar with Different Components of Infrastructure like Routers, Switches, Servers, SAN and NAS Devices.
  • Familiar with Infrastructure Service Management Processes (Incident/Change/Problem Management).
  • Knowledge or Certification in any of the OS Platform.
  • Able to extract the configuration information and Use basic diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to Communicate and Co-ordinate with multiple support teams and business communications.
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions, including the appropriate escalation of critical issues.

Job Expectations:

  • Understand Process and Environment, working closely with Senior engineers, leads & manager.
  • Develop Skills in Specific domain with the help of self-paced, Instructor led trainings.
  • Technical Support and Working Experience in any of Infrastructure Domain.
  • Support Knowledge with effective communication Skills.
  • Certification or Knowledge on Redhat Linux is a must.
  • Ansible playbook development is a must.
