YOUR ROLE

Responsible for conducting business analysis as it relates to software, processes or design for project planning requirements analysis, software testing, or end-user training activities for business applications and technology that impacts business operations. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Perform routine analysis, process design or system configuration, development, testing implementation and/or support of applications, processes or controls that will allow the IT department to achieve project goals.
  • Document business requirements and write specifications for applications customizations.
  • Research and make recommendations on the optimal method of task execution during a project.
  • Evaluate and recommend modifications of basic IT systems that takes into account changes in business requirements or equipment configurations that would improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating costs.
  • Develop data flow, formulas, and methods supplying relative illustrative charts, tables, diagrams, and procedural statements.
  • Communicate and provide to the customer, via phone or e-mail, information regarding the basic resolution to application related problems.
  • Ensure the availability, quality and integrity of information.
  • Provide basic communication to teams regarding business requirements (enhancement scope, impact, solutions, etc.).
  • Document and monitor service level agreements as requested to ensure that information technology systems are accessible and perform at agreed-to service levels.
  • Follow established policies and procedures; determine and recommend potential enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and related job specific software applications.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex computer hardware and software technology.
  • Ability to communicate complex situations quickly and clearly to people with a variety of technical skills.
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and correctly.
  • Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work independently while following established policy and procedures.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Minimum:

  • Certifications and professional credentials may be required for this position.
  • Business analysis skills, requirements gathering, configuration and testing experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the specific applications supported.
  • Strong IT background and experience in application(s) issues resolution.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting experience with computer hardware, and Windows desktop technology.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of remote access applications.
  • Strong understanding of networks and their relation to end users.
