OnTrac is hiring a Systems & Network Admin Senior Specialist!

Location: Remote
Salary: $104,800. - $157,200.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm After hours maintenance and on call rotation required.

Employment Logistics:
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks and related systems. The role ensures high availability, security, and performance of critical systems while supporting strategic technology initiatives and providing advanced technical expertise.

The Must-Haves:

• 3+ years in enterprise network engineering/administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet and Cisco Meraki environments
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP
• Experience supporting 24/7 or near-24/7 environments
• Ability to support multi-site enterprise networks and participate in on-call rotation
• Knowledge of datacenter design, connectivity, virtualization, and backups
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, etc.)
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Your Mission in Motion:
• Network infrastructure ownership: Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Systems, storage & virtualization: Administer and optimize servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms to support performance and availability.
• Monitoring & proactive operations: Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before impact to users or services.
• Security implementation: Implement and maintain security measures that protect systems and data, supporting availability and secure operations.
• Projects, upgrades & migrations: Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations to support strategic initiatives.
• Documentation & standards: Develop and maintain documentation for network architecture, system configurations, and operational processes.
• Compliance: Ensure infrastructure and processes align with regulatory requirements and company IT standards.
• Advanced support & enablement: Provide advanced technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users.
