The Systems Manager, Data Operations, Enterprise Data & Analytics, leads the architecture, quality and integration backbone for data to the Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform (EDAP). This role manages a group that owns data models and governance standards across the EDAP stack (with a primary focus on the Google Cloud Platform; other platforms are Azure Databricks and C3.ai); provides data quality monitoring, rule definition, and root cause analysis in partnership with the data governance office; designs and builds the pipelines and data contracts that connect the EDAP landing zone to source systems and middleware. The Systems Manager is tasked to make these three functions operate as one coordinated practice, setting priorities, resolving cross-pillar dependencies, and ensuring the EDAP platforms deliver trusted, well-modeled, and reliably integrated data to our business partners and their value driven use cases with a focus on prioritizing data as an asset.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on depth in modern data platforms, including data modeling, data quality frameworks, and integration patterns across cloud and on-prem source systems. A track record of leading technical teams, partnering with solution engineering and enterprise governance groups, and translating platform standards into day-to-day operating discipline is essential. Strong communication skills matter as well, since the role works across architects, engineers, source system owners, and business stakeholders. Experience in utilities or other regulated industries is a plus. Candidates who can connect architecture, quality, and activation into a single operating model and lead a team to run it well are encouraged to apply.
