Job responsibilities:
• Systems Mobilisation & Deployment
• Lead the mobilisation, configuration, and deployment of delivery management, logistics, and planning systems in support of the Lead Logistics Partnership at Sizewell C.
• Ensure systems are operationally ready, fully tested, and adopted by users ahead of go-live milestones.
• Coordinate system readiness activities including data migration, system configuration, integrations, user access, training, and cutover planning.
• Validate that no operational, planning, or analytical capability is lost during system transitions or replacement of incumbent platforms.
Operational System Ownership (BAU)
• Act as the operational system owner once live, ensuring systems reliably support day-to-day logistics, access, routing, delivery management, and compliance operations.
• Own system performance in a live construction environment, including availability, data quality, user adoption, and issue resolution.
• Provide hands-on support to operational teams, prioritising service continuity, safety, and compliance.
• Ensure systems reinforce safe systems of work and compliance with DCO, site access, governance, and client requirements.
Logistics Control Tower & Data Enablement
• Own and operate logistics control tower capabilities, providing operational visibility and dataenabled decision-making across logistics and delivery operations.
• Ensure coherent, accurate, and timely data feeds from contractors, hauliers, and operational teams into logistics systems and planning tools.
• Collaborate with functional data owners to assure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
• Support the provision of analytics, dashboards, exception management, and KPI reporting to underpin operational and planning decisions
Planning, Capacity & Operational Support
• Support logistics planning and capacity management by ensuring systems provide reliable inputs for short-, medium-, and long-term operational planning.
• Enable visibility of demand, constraints, and mitigation actions through effective use of systems and data.
• Support contingency planning and operational resilience through system configuration, reporting, and scenario insight.
Continuous Improvement & Change Management
• Own the systems improvement roadmap across the LLP lifecycle, aligned to operational priorities and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and compliance through enhanced system use, automation, and data insight.
• Manage system change requests, enhancements, and iterative releases in coordination with operational and technical teams.
• Support the evolution from mobilisation capability to mature, optimised logistics operations.
Business Analysis & Requirements Translation
• Act as a business analyst where required, working directly with operational teams and the client to understand needs and challenges.
• Translate operational and client requirements into clear, actionable system and data requirements for Wilson James Product, Intelligence & Technology teams.
• Validate delivered system changes against operational needs and user expectations.
Stakeholder & Service Management
• Work closely with site operations, planners, client stakeholders, contractors, and hauliers to ensure systems support coherent logistics delivery.
• Communicate clearly and calmly in high-pressure, live operational environments.
• Maintain professional, collaborative relationships across all stakeholder groups.
• Ensure system behaviours and processes reinforce safe, compliant, and efficient ways of working
Qualifications:
• CITB HS&E Managers and Professionals certificate (MAPS) - must be obtained before
Experience:
• Delivery-focused mindset with the ability to influence disparate stakeholders.
• Construction Logistics Expertise: Strong background in logistics operations, providing valuable insights into operational requirements.
• Strong data analytics, and data management, inquisitive with an ability to identify patterns and constraints.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effectively communicates complex issues and concepts (unique insights) in simple ways, to both technical and non-technical senior audiences.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues within and across organisational boundaries to achieve mutually successful outcomes.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of all MS Office packages. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project).
• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Analytics Tools (Power BI/Splunk/DOMO).
• Working knowledge of On-site storage capacity and inventory system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all working and management levels.
