At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Systems, a typical day will include the following duties:

Work Requirements:

• Work with users to identify and develop system requirements taking into account the desired results, hardware limitations and operating requirements, identified by the Customer.
• Provide operational testing and recommendations for continuous improvement of equipment and software for collection and exploitation.
• Provide coordination across Customer’s organization and business partners to expedite data sharing, processing and governance activities.
• Analyze new technologies, hardware, and software to determine the applicability and need for the existing or proposed system, to include security, storage, and network technology.
• Interface directly with Customer management for requirements for data collection and exploitation.
• Programmatically manage solutions for virtual operations.
• Collect and manage requirements for planning and produce outcomes from virtual operational requirements.
• Evaluate data accessible in the public domain, including foreign social media websites and applications from mobile and stationary platforms.
• Assist in planning and managing multiple projects involving the infrastructure and exploitation platforms.
• Assist in the integration of data with existing platforms for correlation and analytical insights.
• Establish strategic objectives based on the Customer’s vision for the data collection platforms.
• Conduct technical exchange meetings with stakeholders on business and technical requirements.
• Assist to condition, coordinate, collect, and perform data transfer of data sets for integration and analysis.
• Collect, ingest, and exploit large and small dataset collections.
• Provide field technical and operational support for data analysis, and may require some Temporary Duty travel.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with collection and exploitation of data on social media platforms and mobile apps including domestic and foreign.
• Demonstrated experience architecting, designing, or implementing mission internet systems.
• Demonstrated experience configuring AWS and/or Azure networking, security, logging, routing tables, backup and recovery, shared storage, and baselining images.
• Demonstrated experience implementing cloud-hosted Android emulation solutions.
• Demonstrated experience implementing VPN tunnel configuration between on-premise to cloud as well as cloud to cloud, implementing multi-cloud obfuscation techniques.
• Demonstrated experience conducting and documenting results from infrastructure fingerprinting, and briefing technical review board(s) of identified signature(s).
• Demonstrated experience producing technical design documentation such as architecture and network diagrams for operational use and board approval.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing technologies, hardware, and software to determine the applicability and need for the existing or proposed system, to include security, storage, and network technology.

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience:

• Demonstrated experience triaging and troubleshooting data transfer issues with Enterprise partners.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and briefing non-technical and technical audiences for acquiring review board approvals.
• Demonstrated experience working through entire Customer’s A&A lifecycle, developing security control responses and implementation, and addressing risk elements with project ISSE personnel for maintaining ATO status.
• Demonstrated experience working with Customer managers, technical leads, and PMs to identify and develop system requirements taking into account the desired results, hardware limitations and operating requirements, identified by the Customer.
• Demonstrated experience assisting in planning and managing projects involving infrastructure and exploitation platforms.
