Job Description: Senior AI Developer

Experience: 8-12 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
• Build enterprise-grade solutions leveraging LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Llama, and other foundation models.
• Develop and optimize RAG architectures using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.
• Design and implement AI agents and workflow automation solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and business processes.
• Build APIs and microservices for AI model consumption and inferencing.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and evaluate model performance.
• Fine-tune and optimize foundation models where required.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with security, governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and data engineers.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI best practices across the organization.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends.

Required Technical Skills

AI / Machine Learning

• Strong experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Experience implementing RAG solutions.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and autonomous workflows.
• Prompt Engineering expertise.
• Model evaluation, observability, and monitoring.

Programming

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot is preferred.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.

AI Frameworks & Tools

• LangChain
• LangGraph
• LlamaIndex
• Hugging Face
• OpenAI / Azure OpenAI
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Azure AI Search)

Data & Engineering

• SQL and NoSQL databases
• Data pipelines and ETL processes
• Apache Kafka or event-driven architectures
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Cloud Platforms

• Azure (preferred)
• AWS or GCP
• Kubernetes and Docker

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI development experience.
• Experience delivering production-grade AI solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and system architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI principles and AI governance frameworks.
• Experience building Copilot-style assistants and conversational AI platforms.
• Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML, or equivalent certifications.
• Knowledge of MLOps and model lifecycle management.
