Job Description

Responsible for the GUI design, architecture engineering, validation, in accordance with the project specifications and time frame, engineering adopted codes and good engineering practices.

Technical Skills

  • Responsible for the overall systems graphics design and drawings in the project, fully in line with Honeywell standards, design rules and guidelines.
  • Maintaining Graphics Quality and Improvement.
  • Issuing Graphics Features and navigation document.
  • Coordinating Graphics between all different entities involved; customer, consultant and third parties.
  • Conducting research when required.
  • Responsible for implementing GES best practices and engineering/operations processes for Egypt Graphics Centre.
  • Oversees the day-to-day workflow and output of the graphics/CAD department, prioritizing and assigning projects.
  • Oversees and manages art preparation and platemaking layout, providing guidance as needed.
  • Schedules and leads regular departmental meetings to discuss projects and priorities for team members and to address questions or concerns regarding procedures.
  • Maintains portfolio of exemplary work samples Graphics center library.
  • Attends design consultation meetings for unusual or large-scale projects.
  • Assists team members with projects as needed.
  • Interpreting project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and graphics drawings are completed to specifications.
  • Responsible for developong visualization and UI | UX skills

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; BFA in in Art, Graphic Arts, or related discipline highly preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Strong skills in Autodesk design tools not limited to the following.
  • (AutoCAD - Revit - 3ds Max – Corona - Vray)
  • Fair knowledge with Photoshop or illustrator is a plus.
