As a systems engineering manager, you will directly help establish technical solutions for one of our country’s most vital and complex missile systems.

You will work closely with program leaders and lead your team to provide the best, unified solution that meets overall performance, cost and schedule needs. You and your team will perform critical functions, including:

  • Generate the weapon system test strategy, and drive test planning across element and system level
  • Support requirements verification planning
  • Generate test plans for element, platform and system level testing
  • Define test bed configurations to support requirements verification, risk reduction activities to system level tests, and readiness to WS integration on platforms and flight tests

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering or closely related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on complex systems program (missile, spacecraft, etc.)
  • Experience performing in systems engineering functions
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Experienced as a technical leader, previous L-coded leadership or management experience.
  • Experience with Navy customer.
  • Experience working in the development phase of a missile program.
  • Experience leading a tesbed integration effort.
  • Prior experience writing, reviewing or editing Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Test and Evaluation Strategy, Test Plan and Test Report documentation.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
