What are we looking for?

We are looking for you as a Systems Engineering Intern to support our experienced and dedicated technical sales team in Austria. Our team, consisting of over 40 experienced experts, is responsible for the successful positioning and sales of Fortinet security solutions to our customers.

As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will be an important part of the daily workflow and have the opportunity to learn from our experienced colleagues.

In addition to conveying product-specific skills from Fortinet, we offer you the opportunity to acquire relevant security skills and work with leading security products. This will be done through a combination of on-the-job training and formal online training, and it is expected that you will complete industry-recognized certifications.

We place great emphasis on the development of your soft skills, including presentation and whiteboarding skills, customer engagement and more.

What will you do?

As part of our SE community, you can look forward to varied tasks and projects every day. Here's a glimpse into your typical workday:

• Setting up "Proof of Concepts": You support our system engineers in setting up labs at the customer site or at the Fortinet office.
• Customer demonstrations: You are involved in customer demonstrations alongside our system engineers and show our customers the strengths of our solutions.
• Proposal responses: You work with system engineers to respond to requests such as RFIs or RFPs and best support our customers.
• Collaboration with SEs: You work hand in hand with system engineers to offer our customers a successful Fortinet experience.
• Fortinet-Tech Updates: You will participate in Fortinet-Tech updates with our partners.
• Customer-oriented Solutions: You will focus on customer-oriented solutions and work to provide our customers with the best possible experience.
• NSE Certification: You will develop a deep understanding of the Fortinet portfolio and become certified as a Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE).
• Research and Presentation: You will research interesting topics and present your findings to the SE community, contributing to the expansion of our knowledge.

As part of our team, you will mainly work from our office in Vienna, but you will also have the opportunity to work remotely and occasionally travel to customer sites in Austria. Our global working language is English, so it is important that you speak some English in addition to German.

Was suchen wir?

Wir suchen dich als Systems Engineering Intern, um unser erfahrenes und engagiertes technisches Vertriebsteam in Österreich zu unterstützen. Unser Team, bestehend aus über 40 erfahrenen Fachleuten, ist für die erfolgreiche Positionierung und den Verkauf von Fortinet Security-Lösungen bei unseren Kunden zuständig.

Als Systems Engineering Intern wirst du ein wichtiger Bestandteil des täglichen Arbeitsablaufs sein und die Chance haben, von unseren erfahrenen Kollegen zu lernen.

• Einrichtung von "Proof of Concepts": Du unterstützt unsere System Engineers bei der Einrichtung von Laboren am Kundenstandort oder im Fortinet-Büro.
• Kundendemonstrationen: Du bist an der Seite unserer System Engineers bei der Durchführung von Kundendemonstrationen beteiligt und zeigst unseren Kunden die Stärken unserer Lösungen.
• Angebotsantworten: Du arbeitest mit System Engineers zusammen, um auf Anfragen wie RFIs oder RFPs zu antworten und unsere Kunden bestmöglich zu unterstützen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit SEs: Du arbeitest Hand in Hand mit System Engineers, um unseren Kunden ein erfolgreiches Fortinet-Erlebnis zu bieten.
• Fortinet-Tech Updates: Du nimmst an Fortinet-Tech Updates bei unseren Partnern teil.
• Kundenorientierte Lösungen: Du legst den Fokus auf kundenorientierte Lösungen und arbeitest daran, unseren Kunden das bestmögliche Erlebnis zu bieten.
• Zertifizierung als NSE: Du entwickelst ein tiefes Verständnis des Fortinet-Portfolios und wirst als Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) zertifiziert.
• Recherche und Präsentation: Du recherchierst interessante Themen und präsentierst Deine Erkenntnisse der SE-Community, um dazu beizutragen, unser Wissen zu erweitern.

Als Teil unseres Teams arbeitest Du hauptsächlich aus unserem Office in Wien, aber Du hast auch die Möglichkeit, remote zu arbeiten und gelegentlich zu Kundenstandorten in Österreich zu reisen. Unsere globale Arbeitssprache ist Englisch, deshalb ist es wichtig, dass Du neben Deutsch auch etwas Englisch sprichst.

• Der Schutz von Daten, Infrastruktur und Gesellschaft begeistert Dich und Du bist bereit, Deine Skills im Bereich Cybersecurity und Netzwerksecurity zu verbessern und auszubauen.
