- Ribbon Communications is looking for a talented Consultant-Optical Engineer. Experts should promote DWDM and Software solution and develop business in Optical Domain

Responsibilities

• Candidate will be responsible for Business Development for Optical Networking. You will lead technical customer engagements and internal architectural discussions and requirements.

• Play a key role in producing Solution documents, RFP /RFI responses, designs/documentation.

• You’ll assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantity, RFx’s responses. Understand and identify new product features requirement for Product line Managers/Architects.

• Customer product and technology presentations and workshops.

• Communicate Product life Cycle management and Product Roadmaps to customers.

• Provide mentorship and feedback to other Sales Engineers

Required Skills

• Technical expertise in fiber optic transmission systems (WDM/OTN/IP /PTN), and network management

• Knowledge on RFP’s Technical response

• Ability to use planning tool efficiently. Prior knowledge of Planning tool is must

• Build Trusted customer relationship

• Time management and multitasking

• Team player
