We’re hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI.

Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Product System Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment and Connectivity systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, analyzing, validating, and managing product requirements for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Navigation.

The role requires close collaboration with OEMs, Google, Apple, suppliers, software development teams, validation teams, and program stakeholders to drive feature development from concept through production. The candidate should possess strong systems engineering skills, product ownership experience, and a solid understanding of infotainment architectures, connectivity technologies, and certification processes.

Your Background

• 6-10 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment and Connectivity domain.
• Proven experience as a Product/System Engineer for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or connected vehicle features.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.
• Experience working directly with OEMs, Google, Apple, and third-party suppliers.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive technical discussions and influence product decisions.
• Demonstrated ownership of features from requirements definition through production launch.
• Ability to mentor team members and coordinate across multiple engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature requirements for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Navigation, and Connectivity features.
• Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, traceability, and change management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Define system requirements, use cases, functional specifications, and interface requirements based on customer and OEM needs.
• Create and maintain product requirement specifications, system architecture documents, and feature definitions.
• Work closely with software, integration, validation, UX, architecture, and vehicle network teams to ensure successful feature implementation.
• Coordinate with Google, Apple, OEMs, and third-party suppliers on feature integration, compliance, and certification activities.
• Drive system-level analysis, issue triaging, and root cause investigations.
• Support product planning, feature prioritization, and release readiness activities.
• Participate in customer workshops, technical reviews, and product discussions.

Process Area & Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of Automotive Product Development Lifecycle (V-Model) from concept to production.
• Experience with Requirements Engineering, Requirements Traceability, Change Management, and Impact Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes, Systems Engineering practices, and Functional Safety awareness.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall models.
• Experience with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay certification processes, Bluetooth SIG requirements, and wireless connectivity standards.
• Experience in defect management, issue triage, root cause analysis, and cross-functional problem resolution.
