As a F-35 Degrader Action Cell Lead - Level 4, you will be responsible for collaborating across engineering,logistics, and program teams to implement strategic actions that enhance fleet availability and reduce life cycle costs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Leading cross-functional projects focused on sustainment improvements and cost-reduction initiatives for the F-35 fleet.
  • Investigating and analyzing performance degraders, supply chain posture, and maintenance practices to recommend actionable solutions.
  • Supporting the development and optimization of maintenance plans, including updates to existing procedures and documentation.
  • Driving project lifecycles end-to-end — from identification and triage, through solution development, implementation, and closure.
  • Preparing and delivering high-level briefings to executive leadership, the Joint Program Office(JPO), and other key stakeholders
  • Clearly communicating technical analysis, project impacts, associated risks, and expected efficiencies

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent combination of technical education and/or experience
  • Holds demonstrated Project Management and/or Engineering Skills to lead and conduct analysis of complex sustainment/engineering/supply chain issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to meet program or project scheduled milestones.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Root Cause, Corrective Actions (Six Sigma) or similar.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Understanding of Aircraft Status Reporting and Performance Indicators (Production/Maintenance Control).
  • Experience with analysis tools, data management, or comparative analysis.
  • Proficient with work flow management tools (Jira, Confluence, Tableau).

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
