As a CPS weapon system systems engineer, your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead team members to evolve, manage, and maintain the program architecture maintained in Cameo
- Lead team members to evolve, manage, and maintain requirements baseline, ensuring verification and validation planning is documented
- Manage and maintain allocations and traceability for flow down of requirements to the element level
- Lead team members to plan, develop, and execute requirements and verification development for weapon system deliveries
- Assist in developing impact assessments through Requests For Change (RFC) process
- Provide guidance and support to Element and subsystem specification authors across program
- Support weapon system testing, including review and approval of test results
- Lead the team to solve weapon system design and test issues
Provide technical leadership of weapon system design, as the systems engineering technical authority
Basic Qualifications
- Full understanding of the interdependencies of the Systems Engineering “V”
- Experience in requirements development and verification
- Experience in interface definition and control
- Experience in Missile or Space programs
- Experience in planning, conducting, and coordinating activities such as documentation development and technical exchange meetings with partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to build effective relationships across organizations and with customers
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required
Desired Skills
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools, processes, and program integration
- Demonstrated skills in team building and creating cohesive teams with entry level technical talent
- Hypersonic Strike Weapon Systems (HSWS) program experience and knowledge
- Prior successful management experience
- Positive customer relationship
- DOORS requirements management database tool familiarity
- Experience with system level testing
- Experience leading technical teams to solve complex systems engineering design challenges
- Active or Current DoD Top Secret Security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
