
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is in search of a Vehicle System Integration Lead Delegate to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
This role is a System Integration Responsible Systems Engineer (SI RSE) responsible for integrating the electrical design, mechanical design, software design, and architecture for your respective major subsystem. This role will also help lead the Kill Vehicle Integrated Test effort, to develop and execute an integrated system level test with the KV IPT and System Test organization.
