Systems Engineer Satellite Oprations (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

As Space Craft Operations Engineer (m/f/d) you will be part of the Mission Operations Team for a LEO earth observation satellite.
Your tasks and responsibilities during the commissioning and operations preparation phase are:

• Participation in system commissioning activities (End-to-end system commissioning, operational qualification)

Your tasks and responsibilities during the routine operations phase:

• Satellite mission scheduling
• Operations center monitoring
• Operational, contingency and maintenance tasks related to mission timeline generation, TC generation and uplink
• Coordination with other areas of operation
• Support to contingency/emergency troubleshooting
• Writing, editing and control of ground operational procedures
• Writing and issuing of periodic reports to the customer

Your Qualifications

• Engineering or technical discipline degree or equivalent
• Experience as mission planning engineer / satellite operator/ spacecraft engineer
• Experience in performance evaluation, satellite data analysis
• English fluently (spoken and written)
• Willingness to live and work in Luxembourg
