Insurance Systems Engineer - Tokyo

As a system engineer for the insurance industry, you will be responsible for the following tasks.

The successful candidate will be stationed at a major insurance company in Japan and will communicate directly with the client to promote basic and detailed design work.

After design, communicate specifications to the overseas project team, manage project promotion, and connect to offshore development.

Review and inspect deliverables prior to client release and address any post-release issues.

Examples of projects
1) Development of new functions and maintenance of current functions for a major life insurance company's management system
2) Development of tools related to automobile, cancer, and fire insurance operations commissioned by an insurance company's IT department
3) Automation of processes using AI for a Southeast Asian life insurance group company

Required skills and experience

• Experience in insurance system development.
• More than 3 years of system development experience as a system engineer with knowledge of insurance.

• Experience in project management as a leader and experience in teaching and training younger staff.

Required language and educational background

• Japanese Fluency is required
