
The Quonset Point Work Center Master Planning & Readiness Team is looking for System Engineers to develop spatial layouts for Major Modules and work centers of concurrent VA & CLB Class Submarine construction. Selected candidates will perform analyses to ensure building requirements, space, equipment, floor loading capacities, lifting and handling requirements support operations.
The System Engineer would use computer analytics and technical ship building knowledge to plan workspace for submarine modules. The candidate would determine the best spatial layout while considering capacity of work centers, supporting equipment, and flow paths, access requirements and construction spans. In this role, candidates must regularly interface with Operations Management, Ship's Management, Program Offices, Facilities Master Planning team, and Strategic Sourcing Team.
This is an onsite position located at the North Kingstown, RI location

Now in its second centennial of submarine building, EB is the design yard and prime contractor for the Virginia-class submarine program, currently in production. EB is also designing and developing the Columbia-class ballistic-missile submarine which will replace the current Ohio class beginning in 2027.
