
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. As a Systems Engineer supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program you will:
-Support vehicle builds and reconfigurations
-Lead test huddles
-Implement testing to meet program milestones
-Participate in failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards
-Develop necessary documentation to support program/company test requirements (test plans, procedures, reports, etc.)
-Work with senior engineers on integration issues and the development of future system capability and test
-Support system level testing for consoles and vehicles
-Travel to perform testing at various sites
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
-Bachelors in Engineering or similar field
-Experience leading a projects
-Ability to obtain/maintain certifications like mate/demate and torque
-Eligibility to obtain, and willingness to maintain, a DoD Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required
-Excellent communciation skills, both oral and written
-Ability to read engineering drawings
-Some expericne working in a lab setting supporting electrical or system testing
-Hands-on lab experience, including integration, console or vehicle building or systems engineering experience
-Experience with following/developing test plans and procedures
-Software development or testing experience
-Active or Current DoD Security Clearance
Full-Time Salary Range: $72800.00 - $135200.00
