Systems Engineer

Our flagship product is a SaaS application that assists physicians in diagnosing cardiac diseases, which is already deployed globally.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality (subsystems of) products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.

Your role:

  • Overall technical leadership and responsibility for realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high level product design, check and optimize integration and verification.
  • System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to Software element and part level and related traceability.
  • Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces, determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews.
  • Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation compliant manner.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated technical leadership skills (medical device industry strongly preferred). Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology strongly preferred.
  • Your skills include ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality. You are experienced with relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.)
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering and/or business discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • You’re an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills related to the systems engineering discipline. Ability to influence and lead work groups is desired.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

This role is an office role in Paris.

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is 45,630.00 EUR - 76,050.00 EUR. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

This role is eligible for bonus with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.

Le Ingénieur(e) Systèmes est responsable de la livraison de produits (ou sous-systèmes de produits) de haute qualité en répondant aux besoins des utilisateurs et de l'entreprise, en gérant la complexité, en assurant le leadership technique et en coordonnant les parties prenantes.

Votre mission :

  • Assurer le leadership technique global et la responsabilité de la réalisation complète des produits systèmes tout au long de leur cycle de vie, afin de garantir la qualité et la conformité.
  • Traduire les besoins des utilisateurs et de l’entreprise en exigences produit, concevoir l’architecture produit de haut niveau, vérifier et optimiser l’intégration et la validation.
  • Décomposer le système et allouer les exigences dérivées jusqu’au niveau des éléments logiciels et des composants, tout en assurant la traçabilité associée.
  • Réaliser les arbitrages relatifs aux spécifications de conception du produit/système et à ses interfaces, évaluer la faisabilité des solutions potentielles et animer les revues techniques et de conception.
  • Garantir une gestion complète des risques liés à la sécurité du produit dans le respect des exigences réglementaires applicables.

Vous êtes la personne idéale si :
  • Vous justifiez d’au moins 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en ingénierie, avec des compétences démontrées en leadership technique (une expérience dans l’industrie des dispositifs médicaux est fortement souhaitée). Une expérience des outils et méthodologies d’Ingénierie Systèmes Basée sur les Modèles (MBSE) est fortement appréciée.
  • Vous savez gérer la complexité, obtenir des résultats et convaincre efficacement les parties prenantes dans l’intérêt de la sécurité des patients et de la qualité. Vous maîtrisez les normes applicables à l’industrie des dispositifs médicaux (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.).
  • Vous êtes titulaire d’un diplôme de niveau licence (Bachelor) ou supérieur en ingénierie et/ou en gestion, ou disposez d’une combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.
  • Vous êtes un excellent communicant doté de solides compétences en résolution de problèmes dans le domaine de l’ingénierie systèmes. Une capacité à influencer et à diriger des groupes de travail est souhaitée.
