What You’ll Do

Working closely with the Associate Director, Regulatory Programs and collaborating across technical and business teams, you will:

  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of regulatory systems aligned to telecommunications legislation and national interest requirements

  • Assist senior engineers in delivering end-to-end solutions across the technology lifecycle, from development through to operations

  • Contribute to highly available, secure, and scalable systems, ensuring reliability of critical regulatory platforms

  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government and law enforcement agencies, to support solution delivery and operations

  • Participate in security risk assessments and help maintain security architecture in regulated environments

  • Support continuous improvement through modern engineering practices, automation, and evolving technologies

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or network engineering, ideally within telecommunications or regulated environments

  • Knowledge of data networks, servers, and storage technologies, with exposure to distributed systems

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern tooling

  • Ability to support fault-tolerant and scalable systems in production environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Exposure to 4G/5G networks and data analytics is desirable

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Engineering; cybersecurity certifications are an advantage
