You are an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a passion for technology and a knack for solving complex problems. Your expertise in systems engineering allows you to manage and optimize systems’ performance while ensuring reliability and security. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at communicating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of IT systems for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that client solutions are integrated effectively. This position can be based either remotely or in our Milpitas office, depending on your preference. Your responsibilities include:

• Deploying and maintaining on-premises and cloud-based systems
• Managing system integrations and workflows
• Monitoring system performance and performing troubleshooting as needed
• Providing technical support to clients and managing client relationships

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or administration in an MSP environment
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and networking protocols
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing VMware environments and enterprise storage solutions
• Strong understanding of backup and recovery solutions, particularly Veeam
• Familiarity with Office 365 and G Suite administration
• Experience with server operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
