Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing100%employee-owned company, is seeking a talentedSystemsEngineerto support a space payload R&D group. This individual will directly support the execution of design, development,integrationand testing efforts of multiple space payload programsThe candidate will work as an individual contributor and within a diverse, multi-disciplineengineering team, and willbe responsible forsupporting payload design,derivingsystem requirements,assistingwith system test and requirements verification

Responsibilities

• Support system architecture development for space payload systems

• Derive, document, and manage system and subsystem requirements

• Maintain requirements traceability and support requirements verification and validation efforts

• Generate andmaintainengineering documentation and technical artifacts

• Support system integration, testing, and verification activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple programs

• Identifyrisks, gaps, and deficiencies in system design and provide mitigation strategies

• Support andparticipatein program-level design reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)

• Execute tasks independently while meeting aggressive schedules and program milestones

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineeringor a relatedengineeringfield

• Minimum of 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering processes, including system architecture, requirements development, and requirements management

• Experience generating engineering documentation and supporting requirement verification and close-out

• Experience supporting programs across the full lifecycle (concept through delivery)

• Demonstrated ability to work independently on fast-paced projects with tight deadlines

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Master’s degree inSystemsEngineering or relatedengineering field

• 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience

• Experience leading academic or professional design and development projects

• Experience supporting space-based payloads or aerospace systems

• Experiencewith Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies

• Experience developing systems engineering artifacts such as specifications, development plans, and technical data packages

• Experienceidentifyingdesign review deficiencies and recommending mitigation approaches

• Hands-on test experience, including planning, execution, and data analysis

• Experience delivering complex aerospace hardware from concept to delivery

• Strong presentation skills with experience supporting technical design reviews

• Active SECRET clearance or higher
