Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking a Systems engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.
Location:
This position will be hybrid remote. Candidates will be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL.
Primary Responsibilities Could Include:
This individual will be responsible for developing in a scalable cloud-native solutions, and ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security. This is a hands-on technical role that requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.
System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate adaptation solutions into the TFDM system, ensuring compatibility and performance.
Requirements Analysis: Analyze and interpret system requirements to develop adaptation strategies that meet operational needs.
Configuration Management: Manage system configurations and ensure that adaptation changes are accurately documented and implemented.
Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of adaptation solutions to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to system adaptation, providing timely support to maintain system integrity.
Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of adaptation processes, configurations, and changes for future reference and audits.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance system performance and adaptation processes through innovative solutions.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors and eight (8) years or more of experience; Masters and six (6) years or more of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Secret clearance required
US citizenship required
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
Proficiency in system integration, configuration management, and testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Meticulous attention to detail in documentation and system analysis.
Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g., Cloud One, Platform One).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.
Exposure to security scanning, compliance frameworks, or DevSecOps automation.

Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
