We are seeking Systems Engineers who can maintain high‑reliability communications, beaconing, and tracking systems in a mission-focused environment. In this role, you’ll manage servers, applications, mobile devices, and network infrastructure while ensuring maximum uptime, secure operations, and seamless support.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you're an integral part of what brings our company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

ENGINEERING SPECIFIC

  • Managing beacon and communications servers, applications, and equipment, ensuring maximum reliability of tracking solutions for training course attendees
  • Creating, changing, adding, removing, and maintaining user accounts, via script and coding, of the beacon and communication servers, applications and equipment
  • Configuring, setting up, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN equipment such as, but not limited to, firewalls, switches, and routers
  • Maintaining maximum system uptime and stability
  • Administering beaconing solutions.
  • Managing cloud infrastructure.
  • System assessment and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
  • Handling sensitive data, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and achieving mission outcomes.
  • Customizing, deploying and maintaining Android cellular telephones.
  • Managing cell phones, laptops, and tablet devices, all of which require configuration and maintenance while maximizing uptime and communications reliability.
  • Configuring, setting up, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting and running firewalls, switches, routers, or other WAN and LAN systems or equipment.
  • Using encryption hardware and software and virtual private network (VPN) applications.
  • Gathering and vetting new technical requirements.
  • Identifying requirements and constraints pertaining to technical capabilities and solutions in support of training and educational exercises.
  • Cross-skilling and backfilling for teammates.
  • Utilizing Microsoft cloud-based tools including Office 365, Azure, Entra, Intune, and Teams.
  • Using communication tools including push-to-talk technology.
  • Using map imagery applications.
