HaslerRail is looking for a dynamic and motivated System Engineer to reinforce the team in Verona, place where the selected candidate will develop the activity.
The System Engineer we are looking for is a technician within the customer project. Supports other technicians on the team on technical issues and tools. Provides expertise and advice to the client on technical issues and problems. Writes technical documentation for the project, makes configurations and performs functional tests. Operates Secheron Hasler products on the train and trains the customer and internal technical staff.
Depending of fullfilment level of the below requirement the candidate can be defined as Junior or Senior System Engineer.
Responsibilities and key tasks, in this position, you will perform the following:
· Requirements management for creating the System Specification
· Generates and manages the technical project documentation and deliverables.
· Creating configurations for onboard electronic product like e.g. Event recorders, Energy Meter, Gateways.
· Specifies and executes system tests according to the project requirements
· Is responsible for the correct configuration control of the project, for both Hardware and Software.
· For some product can be required to develop a PLC based application
· Technical interface with the customer and internal employees
· Supports the technical work of the other engineers in the project team
· Supports the customer in case of technical questions and problems during the customer project
· Performs the commissioning and training of the customer, mainly in Europe
· Define test equipment and tooling requirements and ensure their timely availability
· Support to R&D for validation of new HW and SW solutions
· Support to product management for standardized solution with 3rd party components
