The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Behind every Girl Scout and volunteer is a team of local staff ready to help them earn that next badge, embark on a camping adventure, or organize an impactful service project.
We are Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ), serving girls in grades K–12 in Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, and northern Warren counties. We bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to 19,000 girls and 10,200 adult members.
At GSNNJ, our systems and data quietly power everything — how a family registers for camp, how we reach members, and how we understand our impact.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-curious Systems & Data Coordinator to keep our core platforms running smoothly and our data clean. This is an ideal entry point for someone who wants to grow into data and systems work while directly enabling programs, camp, and membership.
The Systems & Data Coordinator administers the systems that power the member experience — the council's event and program registration technology, the customer relationship management (CRM) system, and the community management platform — handling set-up, configuration, day-to-day administration, user support, and data entry and quality. Working closely with, and supporting, the Data and Systems Specialist and the Director of Business Integration, this role keeps registration seamless, data accurate, and platforms aligned to the needs of every department.

As is the case with all our roles at the GSNNJ council, we are a small and passionate team of lifelong learners who jump in to support our staff across departments. As opportunities present, we expect our staff at all levels to participate in organizational initiatives and support our mission of serving girls. All staff are required to promote and assist with council-wide programs, activities, and public relations.
We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to support the health and overall well-being of our employees. Benefits for our full-time employees include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401k retirement plan with an employer match; paid time off for vacation, sick days, and holidays with offices closed for winter holiday break; parental leave benefits, life, disability, accidental and critical illness insurance; legal and pet insurance; employee assistance program, professional development opportunities; flexibility and a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.

While some people still think of us as just cookies, badges, campfires, and friendship bracelets, Girl Scouts are so much more. Girl Scouts are groundbreakers, big thinkers, and role models. Girl Scouts design robots, start garage bands, and improve their communities—and yes, they sell the best cookies on the planet.
When she's a Girl Scout, she’s also a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™.
G: Go-getter – She’s bold, honest, and determined to succeed. Goal oriented and ambitious, she’s also a life-long learner who believes no challenge is too difficult!
I: Innovator – Thinking outside the box is her specialty, so she’s always looking for a creative way to take action. She definitely knows how to get things done.
R: Risk-taker – Courageous and strong, she’s keen to try new things and to embrace the unfamiliar. She’s ready to step up and break the mold if that’s what it takes.
L: Leader – She’s confident, responsible, and committed to changing the world for the better—and she’s happiest when others join her in taking the lead!
These are the traits that define girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. This is the Girl Scout DNA.
We're 2.6 million strong—1.8 million girls and 800,000 adults who believe in the power of every G.I.R.L. to change the world.
We’re the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.
