Thorne is seeking an experienced Business and Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience implementing, managing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) solutions. This role requires a strong blend of functional and technical expertise, leadership capability, effective communication skills, and a passion for delivering solutions that drive measurable business value.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the ongoing transition from Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.
  • Serve as the lead analyst for the Order-to-Cash process.
  • Configure and optimize Business Central to align with evolving business requirements.
    Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce Order Management (OMS), WMS, Data Warehouse, EDI).
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing system support, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Support vertically integrated ERP initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Stay current on new BC features and industry trends, proactively recommending system enhancements.
  • Support system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements within the BC SaaS environment.
  • Evaluate business processes and recommend best practices to streamline workflows and improve enterprise efficiency.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Business Central modules, including Accounts Receivable, Order Processing, and Fulfillment, along with relevant ISV extensions (e.g., InsightWorks).
  • Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash processes withing both DTC and B2B environments.
  • Experience with EDI integrations.
  • Familiarity with BC extensions, AL development, and integration tools such as Power Automate and APIs.
  • Experience managing and supporting Business Central SaaS environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce Order Management (OMS) or other OMS platforms preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps).
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels, from operational users to senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to lead and contribute to multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
