Your Opportunity:
As the Systems and Procurement Coordinator you’ll manage the maintenance, repair and replacement of onboard equipment for our long distance trains. This includes procurement, asset tracking and system improvements.
This is a permanent full-time position based at Platform 10, Roma Street.

Purpose that Counts. As a Systems and Procurement Coordinator some of your duties will include:
• Coordinate maintenance and replacement of onboard assets (e.g., POS systems, coffee machines, EFTPOS terminals)
• Manage asset tracking and documentation e.g. spreadsheets, warranties, test certificates, manuals and maintenance procedures
• Support software updates and configuration
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders e.g. Onboard and Customer Service, Procurement, ICT, Rollingstock Engineering teams.
• Assist with training material and delivery
• Work autonomously to conduct problem analysis and achieve a timely resolution
• Travel on long-distance services as required
You’ll also be involved in supporting operational projects, which can include:
• Coordinating the ordering and distribution of uniforms for onboard staff.
• Managing stationery and payment of invoices
• Assisting with project-related tasks as required.
• Supporting the preparation and writing of recommendation papers for operational improvements and procurement
We are seeking to connect with someone who ideally will have:
• Experience in system / equipment maintenance and asset management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple systems and competing priorities
• Proactive and driven – takes initiative to get things done and improve processes
• Adaptable and resilient – thrives under pressure and keeps focus when priorities shift
• Procurement and POS/EFTPOS experience highly regarded
