Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst I in India.

This role is an entry-level systems and application support position focused on maintaining and enhancing enterprise corporate applications that support critical business functions. You will work closely with business users, analysts, developers, and technical teams to gather requirements, document processes, and support the resolution of system issues. The position offers exposure to ERP systems and business process workflows, helping you build a strong foundation in enterprise application support and systems analysis. You will contribute to improving system usability by assisting in configuration, testing, and implementation of enhancements. The role involves learning how technology supports business operations while gradually developing problem-solving and analytical skills. This is a collaborative environment where attention to detail, communication, and continuous learning are essential.

Accountabilities:

  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of corporate applications by assisting with issue resolution, system updates, and user support activities.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Assist in configuring applications based on defined business needs and functional specifications.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancement implementations, and change requests.
  • Support unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure solution quality.
  • Document business processes, system changes, and support procedures for operational clarity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, analysts, and developers to resolve incidents and improve system performance.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 1+ year of experience in ERP systems or application support roles.
    • Basic understanding of business processes and developing knowledge of accounting or finance concepts.
    • Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite modules (e.g., AP, AR, GL, PO, FA, iProcurement) is an advantage.
    • Developing skills in SQL and troubleshooting technical issues.
    • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Good communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
