Summary
The Systems Analyst supports Enrollment Services through developing and supporting system integrations, configurations, workflows, and data processes that serve prospective and current students, staff, and faculty.
This position plays a key role in developing and supporting system functionality across platforms such as Slate, Anthology Student (SIS), and Workday. The analyst collaborates with functional teams, Information Technology, and external vendors to ensure systems operate efficiently and data is accurate, secure, and aligned with institutional needs.
The analyst will work within established governance, standards, and system architecture — developing solutions that align with institutional processes and long-term platform strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities
Systems Governance & Development Standards
- Develop and support solutions within established system governance, standards, and architectural frameworks to ensure consistency, sustainability, and scalability
- Ensure new configurations, integrations, and processes align with institutional data practices and operational procedures
- Collaborate with system owners and IT to maintain consistency, scalability, and long-term sustainability of solutions
Systems Integration & Data Management
- Develop and support system integrations across Slate, Anthology Student (SIS), Workday, and related platforms
- In collaboration with IT, develop and support API integrations and automated data exchanges in alignment with institutional standards and system architecture
- Develop and revise integration mappings, transformation logic, and workflows as institutional needs evolve
- Monitor and research integration logs to troubleshoot errors and ensure data integrity
- Manage processes related to the movement of admissions and student data between systems
- Develop and maintain import/export processes and data automation routines
System Configuration & Development
- Configure and maintain forms, portals, workflows, rules, and queries within Slate and related platforms
- Support development of student-facing portals and enrollment processes
- Assist with system upgrades, releases, and configuration testing
- Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate resolutions across teams
Communications & User Experience
- Develop and maintain email campaigns, communications workflows, and engagement initiatives
- Support multilingual communications and forms delivery

- Assist with front-end interface development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) within governed frameworks
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Research, evaluate, and recommend system and process improvements
- Develop testing procedures and quality assurance standards
- Create exception reporting and error management processes
- Review workflows to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Document technical processes, integrations, and configurations
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with Enrollment Services staff to understand operational needs and implement solutions
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and external partners to resolve system and data issues
- Provide technical guidance on system capabilities and best practices
- Support reporting development and data analysis needs
Professional Development
- Research new platform capabilities and emerging technologies that support enrollment goals
- Participate in conferences, training, and professional development opportunities
- Continuously expand system knowledge to support evolving institutional initiatives
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain and support data integrity within Slate and related systems
- Document development plans and system changes
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Systems or VP of Enrollment Services

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Degree or certification in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Two or more years of related systems or integration experience preferred
- Eligible to work full-time in the United States
