Systems Administrator (Warehouse Management System - WMS – Remote

Position Type: Full-Time | Remote Role |  Travel up to 30% (including international)

Join our team as a  Systems Administrator, where you’ll take ownership of our  Warehouse Management System (WMS), specifically  PathGuide Technologies Latitude WMS (that element is essential)

If you have experience with Latitude WMS. Front end/Back-end Admin experience let’s talk today.
This is a highly visible, impactful role where your expertise will drive the success of our mission-critical systems in a dynamic and fast-paced distribution environment.

Competitive Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year plus bonuses, benefits, and performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities

System Optimization: Manage and maintain the Latitude WMS to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.

Database Management: Utilize SQL expertise to monitor, maintain, and optimize database performance while ensuring data integrity.

Collaboration: Partner with project leads, developers, and IT teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and streamline system functionality.

Upgrades and Maintenance: Coordinate with third-party vendors for system upgrades, firmware updates, and performance monitoring.

Training and Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to empower team members with the knowledge to excel.

Troubleshooting: Serve as the lead problem-solver for complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.

What You Bring to the Team
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
  • 5+ years Systems Administrator
  • PathGuide Technologies Latitude WMS (this is essential) 
  • SQL databases (administration and optimization).
  • Solid experience in high-availability environments, ensuring system reliability.
  • Deep skill in systems design, programming, and support for complex software solutions.
  • Crystal Reports for data analysis and reporting.
Industry Knowledge:
· Familiarity with distribution processes like shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and inventory adjustments.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in SQL Server, programming languages, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of enterprise backup, recovery procedures, and system monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Windows Server (2008 and later) and ERP systems (QAD preferred).
  • Knowledge of Dell Boomi and application development (Pick programming is a plus).
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
