ASRC Federal Technology Solutions LLC is looking for a System Administrator with a minimum of an active Secret clearance to support their work with DEVCOM-CBC G6 organization. The Systems Administrator serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for the engineering, deployment, configuration, security compliance, and lifecycle maintenance of enterprise Citrix infrastructure supporting U.S. Army operations. The candidate will manage system automation, identity management, storage configuration, application hosting integration, and vulnerability remediation in accordance with DoD and DISA standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform Enhanced Trusted Agent (ETA) responsibilities for issuing and maintaining PKI hardware tokens to DEVCOM-CBC G6 personnel for classified and privileged user systems.
  • Perform Data Sanitization procedures in accordance with Army and NSA data destruction policy and guidelines on CBC equipment designated for turn in/destruction.
  • Generate new network licenses for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software.
  • Create PDQ Deploy packages for supported software.
  • Design and install well-functional computer network configurations, connections, and cabling.
  • Provide technical support for: Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI), Citrix Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDI), Thin Clients on Classified and Unclassified networks.
  • Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs using enterprise monitoring tools. Conduct root cause analysis on system degradation or outages, implementing performance optimizations and corrective actions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • DoD and Citrix system integration experience
  • DoD vulnerability remediation experience

CLEARANCE LEVEL

  • This position requires an active Secret clearance or higher. An interim Secret clearance is acceptable until the full clearance is granted.

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 1 year of experience
  • 5 years of related work experience total in lieu of a degree

CERTIFICATION

  • DoDI 8140.03 qualification for DCWF Work Role 451 Systems Administrator - Basic. Accepted foundational qualifications include certifications mapped to Work Role 451 Systems Administrator - Basic in the current DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix, such as A+, CND, Network+.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This position primarily operates in a professional office environment at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, working within or alongside the DEVCOM-CBC G6 organization. The role involves extended use of computer equipment and may require the candidate to move between buildings on the installation to support users and coordinate with government staff.
