Remote Recruitment is hiring a Systems Administrator to manage and maintain IT infrastructure for a UK-based business. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll keep systems running reliably, secure, and optimised while supporting end users and driving infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Monitor system performance and carry out routine maintenance and patching
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and VPNs
• Support IT projects including system migrations and infrastructure upgrades

What You'll Need

• 4+ years of systems administration experience in a Windows environment
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration
• Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Reliable fibre internet and a dedicated home workspace

• Salary: R31,000 per month
• Full-time, permanent remote position
• Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
