About the Role:

The position is responsible for the System Verification of client`s products. The System Verification engineer works closely with the development team. They will be part of the product development and release process to assure high-quality standards are maintained, and quality product is delivered according to requirements and schedule. A function of this role will be to identify and drive the tools required to measure and assess the release over the System Verification process.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze technical requirements and design.
• Main focus on L2/L3 Protocols functionality.
• Design and develop test cases.
• Work within the System Verification Team to plan network configurations, validate functional requirements, and benchmark current system performance.
• Report defects in a bug tracking system and track them until resolution.
• Create, update and execute manual and automated test cases/scripts.
• Assist with customer support inquiries.
• Validate Maintenance Releases in a system/solution environment.
• Estimate and report task completion for project schedules.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Required skills:

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in network design, L2/L3 protocols configuration and operation, fault management and quality of network operation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and highly motivated.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in system integration testing of complex multi-product systems.
• Knowledgeable in Linux and Windows.
• Experience with network protocol and performance analyzer/generator (Spirent, Ixia, IP/TDM testers…).
• Experience with L2/L3 testing Cisco, Juniper, Tellabs... edge/core router configuration, and debugging customer issues.
• Experience in programming with Python.
• Knowledgeable in Cisco, Juniper or any other network equipment.
• Experience with Ansible.
